AMAZON HELP

Go to solution Solved by infamous_last,

Customs would charge taxes

In Australia, customs duty & GST are only due if your order is over AUD$1000 excluding shipping... so you break your orders up.

OP would have to confirm the rules for kiwi land., but a quick search shows 0% duty on computers/laptops/tablets/software and most other electrical gear.

Buying overseas still represents a significant saving, and most retailers tell you to deal with manufacturer direct so you are no worse off.

So I found a killer deal on some products on amazon us (300 dollars of savings) but they don't ship to New Zealand, which is where  I live.

I've heard that you can get products shipped to a third party and then the third party ships it to your location, does anyone know of one of these companies/organizations and how to get it setup? Also open to other suggestions on how to get it to New Zealand

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

(P.S., I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this kind of problem, but I couldn't find a more suitable one)

Trouble is, i usually find that Newegg and Amazon Australia has a tiny catalogue. Ie I can't get a Gigabyte 970, because it's not available in australia.

The MSI GTX 970 (http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127832&cm_re=gtx_970-_-14-127-832-_-Product) shows its price as $349.99 (this must be USD) on the Aus website, yet when i go to the shopping cart to buy it, it says that it's been removed from cart because it's unavailable, and it's price is shown as $407.99 (must be AUD).
