Does this look good?

michael52399

This system is meant to be upgraded. I have $800 {us}, and i want a good performing pc now without hurting future expand-ability options, but what are your thoughts on the build here is the link    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jH7X3C

In the future i am expecting to put a i5 cpu and a better graphic card r9 290-gtx 970 or the best thing that i can get at that time, thus the reason i want more future expand-ability.

I actually would say that it's a solid build, taking into consideration your plans for the future.

it looks good now with the RAM you have you will not run in dual channel which is not too big of a problem but a 2x4GB is about the same price as a 1x8GB so you might as well get a dual channel kit

good build however, switch to windows 8, cause you will get windows 10 later.

and you will want to add a cooler like the coolermaster 212 evo for overclocking

and i dont think that a 290/970 upgrade would be worth it form a 280, especially if you overclock it

It's quite expensive, let me see what I can do for the price.

Increased the price slightly. But I've added a CPU cooler for the G3258 for the ability to comfortably overclock. I added a better PSU for your future prospects, it's a really good price too. Changed the monitor to something 1c more but with 1 lower response time, and equitable exchange I think. Three extra case fans for the 200r. Cheaper R9 280. Cheaper and faster RAM. Cheaper mobo but lost no features in the swap.
