Get the 4690k, a z97 mobo, and windows 8

4690k because newer or 1231v3 and a z97/h97 mainboard.

dont get vengeance pro ram and dont get 2400mhz ram either. both too expensive.

if you can, wait for the 960.

if you can stretch for an ssd, do it. its really worth it.

you could get w7 on g2a and put the saved money towards an ssd.
