well i found this pretty awkward..

SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC requires 750w accodrgind to theyre website wich is awkward will my psu of 650 watts enough?

 

 

my sistem specs are on the signature..

 

 

Here's one with same GPU and 650W and it's more than enough :D

seems a little 2 much PC part picker says I will only need  around 500 but I am also going to over clock so I have a 750 watt but still that is weird.

Yes. Even though Nvidia's power consumption is notably lower than AMD's, I'm running two 770's on a 750 watt PSU just fine, and I still have headroom.

Nvidia does the same thing, but benchmarks show you won't actually need that much, haha.

They do it so that if you fuck your power supply some how they won't be liable. They are also accounting for the cheap $20 1000watt power supplies which probably only deliver like 500 watts.
