GTX 970 fps

alvez

Hey guys,

saturday i bought the gtx 970 gygabyte 1 gaming version.

Here's the good things, it doesnt whines wich is good, but if i play counter strike global offensive i dont really get high fps as i expected, i get arround 250 300 sometimes less, with any resolution like is doesnt change, i dont loose or gain fps either full hd 1080p or low settings. i was concerned and thinking that i hd a bad gpu, till i try the BF4 it runs really well, on ultra i get 90 fps and sometimes a little less with explosions, i also play need for speed most wanted 2014 ruuns smooth too, anyways i play more csgo than bf4 or nfs..i like to play it but i prefere csgo. anyways is this because the gpu isnt being used at full potential while playing csgo ? i dont really get why i dont get masssive fps on such less graphical game than battlefield... ty

Your display won't show that many frames, as long as you have a buffer over your monitors refresh  enjoy it.

well unless you have a 144hz monitor you don't need more than 60-75fps. You can't notice the difference between 250 and 1000fps. And theoretically if you could reach 1000fps your card would be 100% whineing
