Is it worth replacing the fans that come with the Corsair H100i? And if so, what fans would you recommend?

Yes, they are not very good and are very loud

 

I went with some SP120 quiets from corsair, but arguably not the greatest fans but still an upgrade over the originals, they are 10x quieter and perform better too

 

Perhaps look for some gentle typhoons / noiseblockers / noctuas / silent wings if you want good cooling and quiet operation

Well, I was thinking of putting it in an H100i, so I might get some Noctua's and I won't have to look at their amazing colour scheme. :)

Whoops, I didn't mean H100i, I meant an NZXT H440. I wasn't thinking...

I don't know why h100i is so popular but its ugly and can't perform like kraken x61

How is it ugly? it has a really nice clean looking block and once you put some good looking fans on there it looks nice

 

performs ok for me too, my 4770k runs at about 45 degree during gaming

 

was cheaper too and matches all of the other corsair parts in my build, I like corsair link too
