Y-Splitter cable

gooooofpie

If I use a Y-spliiter and have my motherboard deliver 7 volts for instance, would both fans run at 3.5 volts each? Or will they both run at 7 volts

If you use a Y splitter, the voltage stays the same, but the amperage doubles. The motherboard fan header should be able to do 1A easily, look in your motherboard manual.

2x 12V fans @ 0.25A
