Hey guys

Need some help with choosing material to make a custom mobo cover. I want to make a cover, like the sabertooth have. I was thinking about making it out of some kind of plastic, does anyone here have some suggestions for materials to use?

My setup: i5 3570K  - Corsair H100i - MSI Z77 GD65 - 256 GB Samsung 840 pro SSD - Corsair AX760i - Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 2GB - 4x4 GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer RAM - Corsair Carbide 500R (modded side window)

I would suggest something very conductive like copper, aluminium or gold.

Or you could do it with something that wont kill your motherboard, like plastics, ABS, PVC, Acrylic.

Personally I would avoid going for Acrylic as it is known to be very flammable at higher temperatures, and it is a pain in the butt to shape.

That French guy who lives in the Netherlands and speaks German.

Haha, very funny... I agree to the acrylic, it's a pain to work with

I would say use ABS sheets if you don't like working with acrylic but personally I find it pretty good to work with as long as you have the proper tools for heating and bending, also the proper cutting blades and drill bits make it much easier to work with.
