Problems with EVGA 970?

I've been hearing some hooplah about the heat dispersion on the  EVGA GTX 970 cards. I don't know if it is legitimate or not, but in case it turns out to be, does anyone know if this flaw is present in all EVGA 970s, or just certain models? I was thinking of buying the 04G-P4-1972-KR model (reference blower).

The reference cards don't have problem because they are built in the same way like nvidia insisted.

However the acx 1.0 model has some problems but they released the acx 2.0 models.

 

But keep in mind that reference coolers are loud and the acx coolers from evga aren't that quiet either.

I'm not too concerned about the blower being loud. I'm usually either blasting music or using headphones with I play games. I want the reference blowers so that I don't heat up the card on top when I use SLI. Is it really THAT bad that I will be able to hear it over that stuff?

Yup, my bad. So used to typing out reference blower. Of course I would love a 970 reference, but nobody sells them and they may never sell them. There really isn't any video evidence of the noise level of these things which means I would have to find out for myself. Some people have said that the EVGA blower cards feel shoddy and cheap. Maybe I'll wait for the 10XX generation, something that will really outperform the 780Ti while still coming packed with all the cool new tech, specifically Gsync.
