Need Help with CPU Cooler

Go to solution Solved by ObscureMammal,

Hello!

I am currently building a pc and I found a problem my case (Cooler Master Scout 2) is not compatible with the CPU cooler

Here is my build :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zDnTt6

So what is a good CPU cooler   for around 100 $?

Thank you

I've heard really good about the Noctua NH-D14

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler  ($72.44 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($117.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($69.93 @ Amazon)
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor  ($249.99 @ Amazon)
Other: GTX 970 G1 Gigabyte Windforce ($369.99)
Total: $1466.36
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Water or air? Why don't you look at Coolermaster's line? It's what they started with you know.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

The NH-D14 looks to be the best cooler you can fit in your case. Beware though, the NH-D15 is a bit higher so it won't fit. AIO's also aren't really an option since your case doesn't fit a dual 120 one.
