So a few days ago i made a thread about how i had a slight stutter in my games even though i was getting really high fps (100+ usually). I thought it was related to my monitor. However after doing some testing between using my xbox 360 controller and my mouse it appears that it's my mouse that's causing the issue. With my xbox 360 controller my games play great. Now i don't have a nice mouse it's just some cheap no name that i got for $10 back when i made a budget build and didn't have much money to spend. i thought it wouldn't really make a difference between more expensive mice other then it wouldn't have the extra buttons and those extra bells and whistles. It appears i was wrong though. So for you guys that own "gaming mice" i want to ask is this something that all mice suffer from or does your mice enable you to play your games smoothly? What should i look for to prevent something like this happening with my new mouse? Any recommendations or advice?

I've never had this problem with my mouse. You may want to look into a new mouse, or see if you can return it with a warranty .

If you have to get a new mouse my recommendations are either the RAT 7, Corsair M45, or the Razer Naga.

No it's a cheap mouse. A $10 one i bought at walmart a long time ago. Not really worth returning it if it even has warranty still.

Have you tried playing with a gamepad and tried comparing it your mouse? Do they both play equally as smooth? I want to know before i go spend $60-100 on a mouse.

Thanks for the recommendations.

Playing with a mouse pad will smooth out mouse tracking quite a bit.
