A rebooting PC

Go to solution Solved by Rettiekadettie,

Try to take out some RAM,leave one stick in place, and try again.

If it's still doing it,swap the stick you left in your motherboard with the one you took out.

Don't forget to turn your system off  :P

Hey, this morning my pc decided to be annoying and start up then reboot. It's on for about 5 seconds then it reboots and well it starts up again and the cycle goes on and on. It has happend to me twices. Once my PC was bran new and fresh out of making. Once when the power went out and my PC well turned off. And now I guess that I'm at the third time where I turned my PC off last night, woke up this morning to this =/. Normally the problem fixes it self normally but today it doesn't seem that it wants too. You guys got any idea what the problem is and how to fix it?

Sincerely Garrythemod

I'm 8gb of ram down but it worked! I think I know what was the problem. My other 8gb ram stick was the closets to the motherboard to the closets to the fan two. While a power cut it most of got overloaded with juice (got a  1000w power supply) and well fried I guess. my second theory is since it was soo close to the triple fan cooler and I sometimes heard a rattleling noise which I fixed (or seemed two) everytime it happend. I didn't know what the noise was but it was probably the ram. Hoping it wasn't anyway it work now! ='D .
