Something wrong with my tab

I have a samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0" and there is a problem with the audio(3.5mm) port in that if i plugin my headphones(any kind) the audio is dim even in max volume

but if i let the device speakers play the audio it has no problems and

i have tried various apps to see if ti was a softwear problem sadly its not

also there is no problems with the headphones

You can always do a factory restore but that will wipe all your data.

Its a hardwear problem not a softwear one
