I am in need of a new gaming pc my budget is around £750 which is $1211 but the prices of parts could be higher! I have 2 monitors if that means anything!

The games I will be playing are:

Battlefield 4

CS:GO

Minecraft

COD

Crysis 3

Parts I think I will have in it:

CPU : Intel i5-4670k 3.4GHz (I will be overclocking)

Storage: 1TB WD caviar black

Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 EVO

Memory: 8GB of corsair vengeance RAM

Case: Fractal design R4 case

but I don't really know what to get for the other parts. I was looking maybe at a gtx 770 gpu. And around 600W PSU! if you can please link parts from UK stores. To find these parts I used uk.pcpartpicker.com!

Thank you!

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K 3.2 GHz 16-Core Processor | Cooler: Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE LCD 82.9 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler | Mobo: Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO ATX LGA1700 Motherboard | Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5200 CL40 Memory | GPU: Asus GeForce RTX 3080 10GB 10 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card | Storage: 1x Western Digital Black SN850 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive + 2x Sabrent Rocket 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive | PSU: Asus ROG Thor 1200P 1200 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply | Case: Corsair iCUE 7000X RGB ATX Full Tower Case | Keyboard: Filco Majestouch-2 | Mouse: Logitech G903

I'm on quite a tight budget but I might be able to. Is their anything you would change to make it cheaper?

I changed the case to the R4 which made it £20 cheaper, could I change the power supply? Maybe not fully modular?

CPU cooler?

if you dont OCing or just low level OCing, you dont really need an after market CPU Cooler. Using the stock one that come with the CPU is fine. If you do low-mid level OCing, get a 212 EVO or Plus, they are one of the cheapest but very good air cooler. About 20$

Be Quiet's CPU Cooler is good. But for getting CPU to 4GHz... it totally depend on the CPU. Some i5 4690k will be able to get to 4Ghz really easy, some will never be able to get there without cranking the voltage up. It's what we call silicon lottery :P

Also why would you need to OC so much?

Games wont even use up the stock 3.5 GHz, dont worry about it. For editing maybe.

Yeah, it still a good idea to get a CPU Cooler, and OCing should only be done when you actually use it and feel like it's slow.

The partlist is private so I cant see it

I'd get a MSI Z97 G45 motherboard instead, look much nicer + support SLI, yours dont. Also get the i5 4690k, not the 4670k. You can also change the Ram to some other color if you want your build to have a color scheme to it.

Get a GTX 970 instead of a 770

It's only about 25 GBP more right? Please try to save up abit more to get it :P It's way way better than the 770.

Also the i5 4690k is about 3-5GBP higher I think? but if you cant it's ok. You can also get a MSI Z97 PC Mate Motherboard, which is way cheaper than the G45 but still support everything you need except SLI, like the ASUS one you choose before. You can get a 970 that way :P
