Wait for broadwell?

i want to get a laptop, probs a mac but i heard broadwell would be better because lower power consumption with higher performance

For Laptops it's supposed to improve graphics quite a bit.

For Laptops it's supposed to improve graphics quite a bit.

The latest report I've seen says Q2 2015, which means there probably wont be new macs for at least 6-9 months.

yep I'm still waiting for a new extreme edition socket and go full blown on all new parts so been saving a while.

 

but yep whatever comes next after haswell should be decent. although I've been hoping for something like x2 faster than haswell clock per clock although possible but I doubt it. but we are all free to hope.

Buy one if you need one right now, wait if you can wait.

The new MB Air with Intel Core M will probably come early 2015, i'm getting it.

Broadwell should just be a die shrink of Haswell. With more graphics cores.
