I bought a Ducky Shine 3 with blue switches and have been using it for about a week, I've noticed the left shift key can get stuck (after pushing it down it stops at the actuation point for up to 2 seconds then fully releases).

Is there a simple way to fix this?

Thanks!

Pull off the key cap to see if its the switch or the balance bar(can't think of the real name ATM). If its the switch then RMA, but if its not then it could be as simple as bending the balancer(again with the names).

Edit: Stabilizer!

Check if the support bar is not correct, or the inside could be sticky you could try putting a drop of lube in it and see if that does something.

Take it off, check stabilizers like others posted, maybe clean the switch aswell?

At some point Slick talks about cleaning and maintaining your keyboard. Part of which is oiling your actual keys. I would proceed your search in this direction. Pull off all your key caps, oil them all, you will be fine.

who cares...

There isn't the support bar, it just has stabiliser switches on each side, I've pulled the cap off and swapped it with the enter key as they are the same size (and the enter works fine). It doesn't get stuck for as long as the shift key did but does seems to be impeded, so I will need to try lube on it and see if that helps.

Thanks

I don't think I'll need to pull off every key as it's a new keyboard and I'm only having issues with one key, but I will look into this and see if it helps.

Thanks
