New build help(S.O.S)

So I finished a build a while ago, and I been having trouble with it after wards. So when I first booted it up I forgot to plug in the 20+4 pin connector all the way, and when no picture was being displayed on the monitor I knew something was wrong. A bit after the computer started surging, turning off and on. Afterwards I plugged it in all the way and it still won't work. Thinking it was the monitor, I bought a new one. Nope, please help this build is about $1000+
