Sometime this month I will be upgrading my GPU and CPU, an Hd7950 and FX 8320. My case is the NZXT Source 220. At some point later on after I upgrade, I would like to watercool my CPU without using a predone loop. My only reason for doing this is because I want to. I'm limited by what I can do in my case as you can't mount a dual rad of any kind at the top. The only dual rad you could mount on top is literally putting two single 120 rads at the top, but that isn't feasible in a relatively cramped chassis. That being said, I also didn't want to go with a thin rad, and also didn't want a super thick rad that was thicker then my h60 with push/pull fans. So far, here is the hardware I've put on a list:

Pump/CPU Block: Swiftech Apogee Drive 2

Rad: Phobya G-Changer 120ver     (http://www.xoxide.com/phobyag-changer120-1-2radiator.html)

Res:XSPC Single bay 5.25" bayres (http://www.xoxide.com/single-bay-reservoir.html)

Tubeing: Primoflex Elegant White (4 feet) (http://www.xoxide.com/primoflex-advanced-lrt-3-8in-id-x-5-8in-od-tubing-elegant-white.html

Fittings: 6x XSPC Compression (3/8 ID 5/8 OD) (http://www.xoxide.com/xspc-g14to38ld28-odcompressionfitting-chrome.html)

I'm curious as to what changes I can make to this setup to improve it further. Keep in mind when making suggestions is the case. I have one SSD and one HDD in my system currently, with a non-modular PSU(see here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/19576-my-personal-everything-rig/). I do plan to water cool my GPU at a much later point in time, but that wont be for a while, if ever.

I am whatever I am.

I personally would go with bitfenix compression fittings. The main reason being i have used them a lot and put a lot of trust in them. :)

I would upgrade your case. To be able to get more compatibility with radiators.

Masterkleer tubing is also my favorite tubing as i have never had it degrade compared to some other brands..... and belive me its a pain in the arse.

well if you want you can look into modding the front of your case to fit a 360 rad in it...tiny tom logan does it..xD he did a 200r mod also a bitfenix shinobi mod and his orca build...all featured this 360mm rad in the front....the 60mm thick ones from xspc or alphacool heh and they are sub 100$ ...360mm at 60mm thick should be more than enough...and if you wanna keep some of the bays then go with a 240mm 60mm thick....

Well without breaking the bank even more, what cases could I consider buying? I don't want to go chopping my case up (much). I mean, I dont plan on adding much in the way of HDDs to my case so i could mount the only HDD i have in the 5.25 bay and get a different res and a 240rad in the front and a thin 120 in the rear perhaps?

I am whatever I am.
