Hey. =)

You guys must be tired of people making this kind of posts, but since ive eard so much opinions arround the forums and I might have diferent needs thants the other guys did...I kinda love to play one game, CS:GO wich doesnt means i don play any other games but i mainly play this game, I am kind of stuck between 2 things,

"1" get the goodest gpu for 390 € (GTX970)?

"2" get a cheaper one that will do the job for me?

This is something that most of the people dont know since they might not play this game..(cs:go)

I usually play @ 1024x768 since im used to it and i like it alot, I also use all in low excep the antialising that i use x8.

i want to play at constant 400 FPS caped due i have 144hz wich means + fps= + smoothness.

Important things:

- I will not only play CS:GO all day all life,

- I want to have a computer that lasts for 5 years with good use cleaning and taking care of it,

- Money isnt the problem it costs to give that much for this card but quality as a price,

- I will not overclock it at all,

- My CPU is a i5 4690K

- My MOBO is a MSI Z97 Gaming 3

- 8GB RAM DDR3 1333MHZ (NEXT upgrade and last)

So I have the option to buy a gtx 970 and I have 3 brands wich I can buy from, and those are:

- Asus GTX970 STRIX OC 4GB DDR5, ive heard that the fan are good but not good for oc «-  the OC part doesnt matther

- Gigabyte GTX970 WindForce Gaming 4GB DDR5 - people says that the fans are bad for dust...

- MSI GTX970 Gaming 4GB DDR5 - again fans are bad for the dust...

Im interested to hear opinions considering the things ive listed on here, the main thing is, have a good PC overal that last for a good time.

thanks again

1 gpu has better compatibility than 2.

I would go for the 970 as it looks pretty sweet ATM.

And 400 fps is complete overkill :P

its just a personal thing :), What about the 970 versions ? any thought about it ?

There really isn't such a thing as future proofing. If you buy a decent GPU it will hold it's value for a while. You can always sell it after 2-3 years and upgrade when a new series comes out. CPU's last a long while since people are still using i7-920's, by the time that 3-5 year mark even comes out you should already have enough for a whole new build. Any 970 should do, however they're out of stock everywhere...

I mean, i want it to be ok you know i dont mean that i will not upgrade in those 5 years, and i know that the stuff will always decrease in price :)
