GTX 780ti SLI

Go to solution Solved by AlwaysFSX,

It downclocks the speed of any card to the lowest speed of the cards. I would have the reference card up top so it doesn't starve the non-reference card of air.

My friend has a Super clocked GTX 780ti with the reference cooler and is thinking about getting a second one but the only one he can get is the super clocked with the acx cooler on it. Would the higher clock speed of the 2nd card be an issue and also which card should be on top and which on the bottom.

ACX on the bottom would be my recommendation, the clock speed shouldn't be a problem, does he have an 850W PSU since reviews I have seen and read recommend 850W
