Hi,

I am planning on building in a Corsair 350d case with a h100i mounted to the top of my case with the fans pushing air out of the case.

The front 140mm case fan will definitely be intake but I am not sure if I should make the rear fan intake as well so all the air is being pushed out the case through the top or make the rear fan outtake?

If it makes any difference I will also be using a STRIX 970 in my build.

i would set up the fan in the back as an exhaust because there is no dust filter.

or put both fans in the front.

Agree, front 140 will pull lots of air in.

The radiator i would put the fans pulling air through it out the case, this will help with dust build up.

since the radiator will limit the ammount of air going through it out the case and there is no filter on the back of your case i would use the back to take air out the case

General rule,

bottom, front = intake

top, back = outtake

Could I try stray you away from a H100i and to something like a H105 instead? h100i is prone to issues.

Agree with this as well!

The h105 doesn't fit in the top of the 350d, the h100i does... I could put it in the front but I don't like the idea of pushing hot air into the case and I need the hard drive cages in the front.
