all data on the HDD wont be deleted. you just need to adjust the directory of your steam games. you dont need to re-download them

I need to reinstall windows 7 and want to know if everything on my HDD (Steam games etc) will work after a clean install.

 

The OS is on a separate SSD so is it just a matter of re-downloading steam and pointing it to the directory?

I even think Steam has their own DIY page for pointing to the games if you try your hand at a little googling.

I know how to point steam to a directory.  I was more concerned about having to redownload my steam library
