I like corsair link for the most part. I really love the fact that you have full control over the pump. What I hate about mine is the RGB (Green) went out the other day for the lighting :( I had it set to yellow now its a red color so I messed with it a little bit and found out the red and blue leds are fine but the green one is completely out. It's kind of disappointing. I have had the H100i since the first day newegg got them in stock, Witch was back in November some time. I asked corsair for a RMA and the did give it to me on Friday. I'm not quit sure if I want to RMA it or not. Everything else is working perfectly fine on the H100i

I've got the entire Link Commander Cooling and Lighting Kit. I like it for the most part. The control and monitoring functions are quite nice and the lighting kit works great. It allows fan speeds to be tied directly to specific component temps which is awesome. The extra control of my H100i is also very useful for noise reduction. I haven't hooked up my AX860i yet, so I can't comment on that and I'm not using the GPU Node at all. Keep in mind that the Commander unit and the H100i data cable BOTH require a internal USB header (I'm using the internal hub NZXT makes and it works fine). Make sure you visit the Corsair forums for instructions on all the necessary firmware upgrades, they are a must for full functionality and the steps must be followed exactly.

Also, the software is still pretty buggy. Nothing too serious, just small annoying things. I lose monitoring on my graphics cards and one fan occasionally (just monitoring, the settings still work) and have to reboot my system if I want to see it. The storage drive monitoring also causes constant hits to your SSD/HDD, but other than a constant flicking of my activity LED I don't notice any other effects (according to their forums, they are working to fix this with the next software update).

Honestly, if you want a lighted system and a simple way to monitor and customize your temps and fan speeds, I think it's the way to go and should only get better as they update it.

for the stand-alone kit: if you can put up with some bugs, issues and non-functioning,

it'll be a coin-toss. you will have to have patients and get familar with the corsair frums

for support. they are quite busy for phone support and the forum gets daily/hourly

updated. RAM_GUY is very helpful and knowledgable.

its an interesting concept, control panel, and informational center.

not relaible, can be non-functional, and you got to be commited to checking its progress.

too hardware driven for a stand-alone. the inclusion of the i-series is more along

their concept, but still beta and buggy.
