First build? Help?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Yeah

I can make it a bit cheaper (Swap the gpu or drop the SSD) if it is too much over budget.

The 850W psu would allow for a 2nd R9 290 at a later date. If you only plan on a single gpu then a 550W would be enough.

The Phanteks is a very good case. It has better airflow than the 750D as well.

This is my build so far. Any ways of improving it or making it cheaper?

MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming Edition

AMD Piledriver FX-8350

Corsair Obsidian 750D

Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular

Avexir Core Blue series 8GB 1600MHz

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1tb

Cooler master hyper evo

(Cheap ass optical drive which is only going to be used to install windows)

What do you guys think?
