Friends CS-GO Crashing

My friends damn csgo keeps crashing after playing for a while. his computer gets louder, but the temps are still normal. It usually stutters for a bit and then it all crashes his computer. However, if he times it correctly he can CTRL ALT DELETE > task manager > force quit it, rarely works though. Can someone (perhaps with prior experience with this issue) give me an explanation as to why this is happening. ? ??

What is his OS? I had constant crashes with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, upgrading to 64-bit has fixed it all.
