Hello, how are you?

I am building a new personal PC, for gaming, to work and do my Kinetic Typography hobby (After Effects).

Design is very important for me thats why i'v choosen a Silverstone Fortress Ft03 (black).

Main components will look like that:

- Intel i7 4770k

- Asus Z87-M Plus (mATX)

- GeForce GTX 770 or 780 (still thinking about that...)

- BeQuiet 650W 80+ GOLD

- a Slim DVD (just in case)

- Intel 320 SSD (i have it in my current PC)

and Corsair H80i cooling

and my main concerne is with RAM, i think Kingston HyperX will be best, but no clue how many MHz (for gaming and video rendering) and what timings... PLEASE help.

Oh i'v attached a photo i have found on the web.. can you imagine someone had the same idea of a PC look? Similar case and Screen (LG 29ea93-P -- 29". with 21:9 ratio). But thats good i have an overall idea how will it look :)

What do you think of that build anyway? Would you change smth?

Mouse: Logitech MX Percormance Wireless

Keyboard: Logitech K800 Wireless (LED)

i was thinking about Kingstone HyperX Predator (16GB, 2133, CL11) or HyperX Beast (16GB, 2133, CL11)

But also Crucial and G.Skill have amazing reviews... so it's hard to decide. And if i need 2133MHz anyway...

The performance increase for CL11 ram is only good if you decently overclock it. I know that G.skill and hyper x ram overclocks well.

You could just go for CL9 1600 memory and have less hassle too.

i know but im making a bit of video editing so i was thinking to buy better RAM, but i have no idea which kit would be the best.

I know i want 2x8Gb and 1866 or 2133 (with i7 4770k should be ok) what do you think?

If the 2133 isn't much more expensive go that route. Otherwise, 1866.

You should be trying to overclock them anyway.
