the best APU you can buy today is the A10-7850k Kaveri. Period

You can get 30-40 FPS on medium settings battlefield 4 at 1080p

What is your budget?

Your current rig is a laptop, it isn't upgrade-friendly, and its fairly low-end.  If you are serious about upgrading, you are looking at a full system build.

Mobile sockets are different from desktop sockets. Usually you will find that mobile sockets are BGA (Ball Grid Array) sockets which are always soldered to the PCB. If you are lucky enough to have a removable CPU in your laptop your options will be VERY limited.

For me, laptop processor upgrades (if they are even possible on the specific laptop) aren't worth the trouble, time, or price. If you want a better CPU/GPU in your laptop, sell it on ebay and buy a better one with the cash.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

e1-6010 apu with r2 graphics socket ft3b

FT3B is BGA socket so your CPU is soldered to the motherboard.

I wouldn't go that route.  Its just not very good use of money if your end goal is gaming.  Also, I highly doubt that that desktop processor will work in your laptop.  That is a low end, bottom of the barrel laptop that is not meant to be upgradable.
