change windows restore drive

So I backed up my boot SSD (as C:) onto my HDD using Windows Backup and Restore, but I seem to have run into a problem in restoring it. I got my new SSD and plugged it in, grabbed another HDD with windows on it, booted to it, and tried to restore from original HDD back to new SSD. It will start, then say the backup file could not be found. I'm assuming this is because of the drive letter change, as the SSD is now listed as E. Is this assumption correct, and how do I go about restoring it?

Thanks so much for any replies!
