Hey guys. I have been thinking of buying the logitech g400 without prediction. But is there any way to know if the mouse has prediction on or off without opening the box?

I don't think there is anyway to see if its the newer version without taking it out of the box. Why do you want to buy G400 anyway? G400s is still available widely.

I wanted to buy the g400 because my friends said that it feels different (the material outside) and they prefer the g400

and can you recommend me any other mouse? (make sure it does not have angle snapping and acceleration)

If you scroll down you can read more about the mice. According to the details, it is the DA3G that originally had prediction but was fixed with firmware update.
