Hello, lately on my Google chrome, (i haven't checked IE) I have been getting a message that says that my Java needs to be updated. I have gone to the official Java site and updated to the latest, and have still been getting that message. I may do a scan eventually, but i would like your feedback. Is this legit? I have never clicked on the box thingy. Here is the pic:

Then you should be good to go if it's up to date. However you shouldn't be getting random popups from weird domain names. Prob have some strange plugins or you're infected with URL redirects ect.

only plugin is adblock (not enabled on this site. i'm nice). I am using IE now and have not noticed anything strange. I will let malwarebytes finish its scan and see if that fixes chrome. if not, I will try reinstalling. Thanks for your help!

*Sigh*

You have been infected with malware.
Use these tools to get rid of them. Most of them can be found on bleeping compter, or the official website for ones like mse, malwarebytes, and spybot.

ADWCleaner
Adware Removal Tool
Combo Fix
Hitman Pro
Malwarebytes
Microsoft Security Essentials
Spybot Search and destroy (1.6.2... the new versions are poopy)

Go through them in that order, and then use revo uninstaller to fully remove any left over programs.
