Light/Gaming Laptop

Meow

Hi guys. I have recently found this laptop from Gigabyte.

I want to know if Gigabyte's computers are of good quality as I never really heard of one until Linus reviewed the P34G.

Since then, Gigabyte has released the P34G V2.

Can you guys help me identify the panel type? It says LCD, is it TN??

Is this a good light, gaming laptop? Any recommendations?? (please don't recommend ones that are TOO expensive) [Hint: Razer Blade]

;)

I don't know that I would be comfortable recommending a Macbook retina 15". I have one and even in low settings in most games it's a bit laggy. (Games I have tried: Hitman, Borderlands 2) But it does depend on what games you want to play on it.

Another option could be a Lenovo Y50 with the UHD screen? It has GTX 860M though.

Strange, the 750m is a decent GPU

Oh there is also the Razer Edge tablet (a bit outside the box but still)

Some of the Zenbooks have dedicated GPUs (although less powerful)

There is a great list here too

The GPU is good enough, talking about the price of the laptop. My brother bought a same laptop from msi and it can run BF4 at high settings @ 40FPS 1080p.

Its a perfect laptop.
