All Intel ROG boards are called Maximus. (socket 1150/11551156)

All AMD ROG boards are called Crosshair

Than ther are names for each level

Impact ->Gene ->Hero -> Formula -> Extreme

Impact: mITX

Gene: mATX

Hero: Entry level, if you like the look but don't have the money :D

Formula: Best value, great onboard sound, and watercooling and stuff.

Extreme: Max board performance without much extras for people who buy extra waterblocks and soundcards anyway

maybe this will help...  :)

1. Crosshair - AMD (AMD based Chipset boards)
2. Maximus - Intel (P/Z Series Chipset boards)
3. Rampage - Intel (X Series Chipset boards)

4. Striker - Intel (nForce Chipset boards)

How they segment their boards:

1. Extreme - Overclockers
2. Formula - Hardcore Gamers
3. Hero - ?
4. Gene - Case Modders
5. Impact - SFF Enthusiasts
