Yeah i'm talking more in line of American Football, Cap'n Jazz, Tiny Moving Parts, Mineral ect...ya know... real emo.

Hopefully they just mean emo music to listen to....like heavy metal or whatever those people listen to, hopefully not actually cutting etc.

You are talking about the debauchery and Demise emo which would be no thanks to generation z who completely destroyed what emo was and made post-hardcore scene nonsense. then yes cutting would be involved in that music.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but since when is "emo" a music genre? I thought it was mostly about fashion and whatnot.

@Norehellas *facepalm* emo = emotive hardcore there's different types you got jawbreaker type emo which is more of a punk hardcore sound or the Midwest twinkly type emo like American Football.
