Hackintosh vs. New laptop vs. Upgrades

After Christmas and my Birthday I will have enough money to do one of these three things:

1.) Buy a Mac Pro from a time when the computer didn't look like a can and upgrade it a bit. (Around $400)

2.) Sell my very loud and warm gaming laptop and get a nice mainstream Windows laptop. (Around $400 after selling and then buying a laptop).

3.) Get a GTX 980, 970 SLI, or 780 SLI. This seems pretty dumb tho because all options are overkill for 1080p (Around $350 for cards if I sell my 780).

I'm not getting rid of a device without replacing it. I need both a laptop and a desktop, with option 2 I would be getting a laptop that doesn't melt my leg (after selling the older laptop).

in which case i would go for 2 then

if not just buy a 2nd 780 and sli if your system can.
