I was gonna pull the trigger and order my parts tonight, but I've decided to run it by the forum gurus first, aha.

I was hoping you kind folk could let me know what you think of the build, and how I could improve it. In terms of "use cases" for reference on if it's a good fit, this should be used primarily for gaming as well as some basic school work and video streaming.

Some of the games I'll be playing include CS GO, Just Cause 2, Far Cry 3 and Battlefield 4. I'll also be playing some more "basic" games too like Rogue Legacy and Binding of Isaac. I doubt those are of importance, though mentioned it just in case.

Of course, I don't want to spend too much more than I already have in terms of budget. I've already gone over my original goal. xD

Thanks in advance to all those who help. Can't wait to see you guys' input.  :D

IMO, get the non modular version of the power supply, and get a slightly cheaper case like the 200r, then get the 4670k, but that's personal preference, I just prefer performance over style :)

change the ram because it runs higher than the intel recomended max

besides that its fine

I'm not sure that's right, 1600Mhz ram is supported according to intel's website http://ark.intel.com/products/75038/Intel-Core-i5-4440-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz

Just OC the GPU and you should get similar performance to a GTX 760. This build also has an SSD, faster RAM, and a much more color coordinated aesthetic.

Computers should look as good as they perform.

Aesthetics of rigs matter

Compare that to mine, £40 more and worse gpu and cpu. Ain't so cost effective.
