I have an asus gaming desktop and I would like to know a good graphics card to use with a $550 limit. I have an AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon HD Graphics with an AMD Radeon R7 200 Series graphics card currently. I also have 16GB of RAM, (Not sure if important but the PC model is ASUS Desktop PC M11BB Series) Let me know if any other info is needed like power supply, motherboard, etc

Thanks josh I will probable get the EVGA and with that PSU what kind of graphics card could i run?

You could go up to a GTX 970/R9 290X without major bottlenecks, though you will still bottleneck a bit.

What's bottle necking?

The CPU basically can't handle the graphics horsepower and in the end you get less performance out of your GPU.

THIS IS NOT A SCIENTIFIC WAY OF EXPLAINING IT but it's the basic idea

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9XuCz1FQEU watch this for bottlenecking basics

CPU: AMD FX-6300 4GHz @ 1.3 volts | CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO | RAM: 8GB DDR3

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P | GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC | SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO

HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Green | Case: Fractal Design Core 2500 | OS: Windows 10 Home
