I have a handful of questions, i will # them so when you answer please use those #

1) Will the [bIOSTAR TA970 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/sATX AMD Motherboard UEFI BIOS] [http://goo.gl/2ubneV]  work with   [G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL] [http://goo.gl/NU68s1] All the information seems right but im not good with compatibility as well as some people were saying (they may just be to stupid to know) that there DDR3 1866 memory wasnt working for them in that board.  I am building this for a friend and i dont want to screw this up and delay the project.

2) Which is better, the [ASUS GTX 750 TI] [http://goo.gl/fa8PcY] or the  [GIGABYTE Radeon R7 260x] [http://goo.gl/1SS9UG] because i have seen benchmarks with mixed information on that so i'm not quite sure (no fanboying; I just care about performance software brand etc doesn't matter in this case (link appreciated))

3) will the  [bIOSTAR TA970 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS]  [http://goo.gl/2ubneV]  fit properly in the  [APEVIA X-Hermes X-HERMES-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Green] [http://goo.gl/kMOIYG] It seems like it should but im not sure

4) will the  [bIOSTAR TA970 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS]  [http://goo.gl/2ubneV] fit properly in the  [APEVIA X-Hermes X-HERMES-GN Black/Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Side Window-Green] [http://goo.gl/kMOIYG] with one of the previously mentioned graphics cards, or will the 200mm fan be in the way.  Some people were saying that fan is in the way and others arn't so im not sure if only big cards will be in the way.

Thank you  for all the help, any help is greatly appreciated  :D

Please don't get a biostar board.

1) yes

2) 750Ti -- they're similar, but the 750Ti is more efficient.

3) yes

4) it will fit fine, but god is that an ugly ass case.

Are you upgrading from your 760k to an FX chip? If so, I wouldn't, I'd stick with the 760k and upgrade to a Broadwell i5/i7 when you can afford it.

1) Yes they are compatible

2) I would go with neither and get an R7 265

3) Yes

4) Yes

For compatibility questions like this, http://pcpartpicker.com/ is a great website for easy part picking with compatibility.

Also, with these questions I assume you are a newb about to buy, I would recommend making a request for a build parts list in the "New Builds & Planning" and following the stickied "Build Plan Thread Recommendations" stickied thread template. I would be glad to help you pick out a build and I know others on the forum would too.
