And yes im talking about Lollipop update LG Has not even announced if they will be updating them.. They completely forgot about Optimus G (G1) and hopefully does not happen with G2 and G3 both get updates very soon

LG will problebly update the G3 as it is there new High end phone. and the ppl at XDA port G3 roms to G2 "what i am using now" so i will not warry about that, and to be honest if Lolipop is that good i will just flash the CM 12( or what ever lolipop will be )

I know this thread is old but, LG have just confirmed to me in an email that the G2 will NOT be getting Lollipop. I'm pretty mad that my 18 month old phone that was top of the range is now at the end of its upgrade life already, its pathetic.

 

 

 

I can only apologise, due to the hardware constraints in the G2 it will not be upgraded to Lollipop. When this was released we were under the impression that it would be introduced to the G2 however as this has been out for months it is not going to be upgraded. Unfortunately this will not change.

The G2 is getting Lollipop, or at least the T-Mobile version is.
