keyboard shortcuts for programs?

Is it possible to make a key-combination like STRG+1 and make that with that combination a certain program gets opened? I am using a razer keyboard, so maybe its possible with that or another program.

Have you ever used a program called AutoHotkey? It's amazing for creating your own shortcuts and remapping keys. They have huge forums that have probably already done anything you could think of, so try that.

You should be able to set a macro in Razer Synapse. If you click on your keyboard in Razer Synapse, click macros, and then you can set your macro for whatever you want the key combination to do and then make that for example macro #1 and then STRG+1 and then set it to tell that macro to open a program.

i cant do that on this one because its 4 years old, on my brothers razer keyboard there were many more options. I rightclicked a shortcut and made a key combination
