audio port issues

ive had this issue for a while now...

 

my audio ports 3.5mm jacks for mic and line in just dont work. also the front port on my chassis doesnt work despite changing the case recently. 

 

is a section of my motherboard fried? 

 

atm i use a usb cable to my mixamp (astro) and a usb soundcard for my speakers
