New pc-build. Need some help

Burakius

What do you guys think of this setup I want to buy. Some notes: I do, do some video editing stuff and use Autocad. Further more I game (bf3, future star citizen , rome total war 2 etc.). Also I want to do a ' mild overclock' , so no 'balls to the walls' overclock. So overclock to about 3.8/3.9ghz or so. Also If the after-market cooler sucks: I am planning to buy that swifttech h220 liquid cooler (if its needed!).

Looks good. If you want to overclock i would go with water cooling. and get a h100i or h220. Both of those will easily hit 4.5. it usually bottlenecks around 4.6-4.7 on ivy. Im running my 3570k @ 4.5 24/7 with an h80. So you shouldn't have a problem.

If you want to go up to 4.6Ghz, i would get like randal007 said a h100i or a h220 and a better PSU.

If you life in europe maybe get a bequiet dark power pro. It runs quieter, has cable-management, and is more efficient than the one from XFX. :)

It's all well and good but for the cpu cooler i would go for something in the same price range but from a more respectable manufacturer like cooler master. I don't know Schythe haven't seen them around my part of Europe. But if you know that they are good then go with it, it's a decently balanced system that should handle what you through at it.
