OnePlus One Invitations?

Morning fellow tech peoples.

 

After the announcement of the Nexus 6, I was rather disappointed at how expensive this device will be. Prior to its release, I was looking at the OnePlus One phone, but cannot seem to find any invites.

Anyone out there willing to be awesome and PM me an invite? I would be forever in your debt! I am a tech enthusiast and PC overclocking addict who needs a solid phone for work and home and am tired of having to carry a spare battery or use a thick and bulky battery case with me. This phone fits the bill (both price and feature-wise).

Well I did just buy one, but as it turns out you don't get invited immediately, but they hand them out randomly <-<

 

And they expire as well, so jeez.

Yeah I know. I've been scouring the internets for weeks for an invite or a kind soul but no luck thus far (plenty of kind souls, just kind souls without an invite lol).

Hoping one of the giveaways comes to fruition as well.

Somewhere I read that OnePlus was planning on getting rid of the whole invite system around the month of October, but I'm not sure if this is going to happen soon if at all. I really hope it does though, as I'm sure many would as well. Not only could we more easily get our hands on a One, but it would (fingers crossed) make other phone companies like HTC and Samsung drive the prices down on their phones since they would be loosing so many customers to OnePlus.
