New Headset Recommendations Please!

IsaiahKitaeff

Hey,

I'm looking to buy a new headset and would like your help. I currently/was using the Logitech G930 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104399&leaderboard=1) but they have been having problems and would love to know if there is a great headset out that yall would recommend.

I'm looking for something under ~$130, and would be using it primarily for listening to music/movies, as well as some voice chat. 3.5mm or USB are both fine. Microphone is preferable, but listening quality is more important.

Oh, and I don't want to be "that guy", but some decent bass would be nice too. :)

These are the ones I was looking into; what do you think is a good choice? Other options very much appreciated!

Thanks everyone.

Yeah, I always use the Logitechs plugged in when gaming, wireless for movie watching and such.

The HyperX's seem great, and they have Linus' endorsement.

At that price point the HyperX Cloud is the best by far :)

If audio quality is most important then getting a set of headphones + mic will be your best bet. Do you prefer open/closed and bass heavy/light/neutral?

As for open/closed, I would say I don't have a huge preference, but comfort with glasses would be a big plus.

For bass, I'd say heavy but controllable.

Thanks!

I have glasses and open/closed shouldn't make a difference but on ear and off ear makes a HUGE difference. On ear pushes on your ear so off ear is much more comfortable.

If you can spare the extra money then I think http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0011UB9CQ/ref=dp_olp_refurbished?ie=UTF8&condition=refurbished is a very good set of headphones, otherwise

or

would be good choices, I prefer open over closed but the open headphones have less powerful bass

If you can find some id recommend

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16826106474

I have had these for a while now, the sound is amazing when I was just using on board sound card(only got better with a sound card.) they are nice and light causing me to sometimes forget about them all together. One down side is it will take a while for the ear cups to get used to a pair of glasses but once they do you won't notice it.
