uninstall windows 8

Right now I am using Windows 8 and it is saying not active I went into setting and its telling me that its not a correct code. I just bought it from Walmart and I was going to Uninstall and then reinstall but I just want to know willI I have to download all my games and stuff again?

Yes you will have to assuming they are on the same drive as the OS.

Couldn't he back up his library to a Flash Drive.

Assuming the flash drive is big enough (Or just use an external HDD) then yes that is entirely possible.

I think you can type "slui 3" in CMD and enter your product key there.
