Hey !

 

So I bought myself a new pc with an Intel i7-4790k cpu and a gigabyte gtx 770 2gb gpu. the motherboard is a gigabyte z97x gaming 5.

 

The first game I ever played was Minecraft since I was downloading BF3 for my pc and had nothing to do. The game worked perfectly fine and I was getting way over 60 fps.

 

When I run bf3 on the other hand, the game keeps minimizing on full screen every 5 minutes and if play windowed it keeps on pausing as in I can see my mouse and I have to click to get back into the game. It's pretty annoying and it happens to chrome too, even now while im writing this post !

Got it in parts but the people i got it from i asked them to build it. Too expensive to risk it , ya know !

Check the task manager and see what programs or processes are running.

There may be a process that is taking priority over the game and is causing your game to minimize every time it does something.

 

If you google the various processes you should be able to find out what they do and it they are needed or not.

Disable any that are not needed.

 

If you haven't already, uninstall any un needed programs and go into the startup page and disable any programs that are not needed at startup from running on startup (Type msconfig into the start menu's search bar)
