3.5Ghz to 4.5Ghz is a great OC, and the voltage seems fine, well done mate! What are you using to cool it?

Hello,

i overclocked my Intel i5 4690k and i achive around 4.5 Ghz on 1.3V Core Voltage. Now i want to ask if this oc is good or if the Core Voltage is too high. http://puu.sh/cbVCO/fdddd7ccb3.png

Thanks for your Help

Your voltage is just fine, just don't push it any higher than 1.36V

I think it's pretty normal and good.

Did you try to lower the voltage a bit more? I think 1.25V would be fine if you got a good sample.

With that said, i'm not a pro about overclocking latest Intel CPUs so don't bash me if i'm wrong please :3

From what I've seen in the past, 1.25v doesn't normally cut it for a Devils Canyon CPU. But hey, he could get lucky :P

That's about what I would expect. Vcore of 1.3 V is not unreasonably high as long as your cooling can cope with it.

I tested it also before and it works some time but after 2h i got a Bluescreen.

Thanks :) I use the Corsair H100i with Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Paste and Noctua NF-F12 PWM Fans

Then you're pretty much set! Keep an eye on the temps for a while but other then that you're in the money.

Well it's just fine anyways, 1.3V is still all good and you have 100% stability since it still made it for 2 hours with 1.25V.

So... Have fun with your overclocked CPU mate :)
