Gaming Laptop Help

Dumbpants

Hi, I'm looking for a gaming laptop around $1200-1400, with either a gtx 860M or 870M, an SSD+HDD combo or just an SSD around 512GB, i7, 15-17 inch screen, and good cooling. I've looked at the Asus ROG G750JM, which has an 860M but with a HDD, and the G750JS has an 870M with an SSD and HDD combo, but it over my budget. I was wondering if you guys could help me find something with these specs for around this price? Thanks a lot.

Those specs and that price. That's going to be difficult or you are going to get a plastic box.

Lenovo y50, I'd suggest the 4K model, or go with the 1080p model if the 4k one is out of your budget.

Its possible to get that with that price point but you probably aren't going to find a laptop with that in it, at least from what I've seen its either a HDD or SSD not a hybrid, your choices are really the Lenovo Y50, G750, G550, and I think MSI makes one but I don't know what it is called off the top of my head

I think the MSI one is the Ghost, there are various models for it.

The 1080p screen has reports of the color being a bit yellow, and the 4k model is just $200 or so higher, I'd say its worth it even if you run games at 1080p or so. (There shouldn't be a problem with scaling down to 1080p)

Ahhh, I see. I'm gonna check out if scaling works fine on it, it should though. Thanks.
