Haswell or Sandy bridge-e

hey guys I am planning a new build but currently I am confused between haswell or sandy bridge-e. I will also be overclocking the cpu. It will basically be a gaming rig. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

If you only plan on gaming there is no reason to pay the extra for Sandy Bridge-E. You will get a better performance with Haswell

ONly use 2011 if you have 3 way + sli of c fire or need a ton of ram or computing preformance. If your gaming you don't need it

According from what i've heard, it does overclock well but is gets extremely hot
