Hey guys, just wanted some advice on my new build.

Uses:

-Gaming

-Editing

-Rendering

-Photoshop

- Losing weight ( Haha psych)

Country:

-'Murica

Budget: 

Tried to not go over $2,300 but oh well

ADVICE:

-Trying to get a red and black/gray color scheme, how am I doing? ( Getting red sleeved cables)

-Will I be able to play games on 4k? I highly doubt it but just wondering ( Aiming around 1440p)

- Will my friend but jealous of MY stuff for a change? ( Just joking haha)

I think the color scheme will look pretty good, but you should get one of NZXT's Kraken water coolers, since you can customize the color of the LED on the waterblock with their software. And with that Phantom 820, I believe your friend will be jealous

4K? Depends on games, We're still quite early into adoption so wait a while for 4k to be a norm like 1080 and 1440p are.

 

Jealous Friends? Hell yeah

 

Red/Black theme? Almost. I'd swap the PSU for a Corsair AX760 (you don't need over that), and the Memory Kits to Vengeance Pro (Red Spreaders) or HyperX Fury. 

 

Case? I'd say the H440 Black/Red is more suited, not a fan of phantoms.

 

 

One more thing, Go for the H105 instead of the H100i, I have had my H100i fail and so have quite a few other people. I recommend the H105 instead, and you can put the red or grey bands on it. Matches nicely with the Corsair AF fans too

As said by @ThatCoolBlueKidd and also, that monitor is going to look like poop with 27" and only 1080p (unless you mean ur going with 1440P later)

Yep Corsair does try to make their parts compatible with their parts. Just make sure you match and get 120mm fans for the radiator and not 140mm fans.

DDR4 Prices, X99 Prices, 5820k prices. the i7-4790k is perfect and is what he already had in his first link. The upgrade to X99 isn't worth it at this price point, the two 970s will do a lot better.
