Hi! :)

I want to ask you to help me, give me tips about this little config which will probably be the first gaming pc of my friend :) Note that i am not that experienced so i accept any kind of critisism!

We both live in hungary and the budget is 500$, he runs a single 1600x900 monitor

For CPU i went with the AMD FX 6300 for its great price, power and overclockability.

Motherboard is a tough choise, i didnt even decided but my go to is GIGABYTE GA-970-DS3P

GPU in my opinion is AMD only when doing low cost PC's: GIGABYTE (again) R7 260X 2GB windforce

RAM is my ''old'' (rather previous) but still great KINGSTON 4GB 1333 MHZ DDR3

HDD is standard: WD 1TB 7200 RPM (he already has that so don't give other hdd choices)

PSU is (again) my previous one (still has guarantee) CHIEFTEC 400W which i find good enough

For CPU cooler: COOLERMASTER Hyper 212 EVO: many of my friends have this and are satisfied

The case is very personal so i don't really think that you have any things to complement about it (if you have, feel free to tell) CORSAIR SPEC-03 red

Thanks for everything guys!

So you need CPU, GPU and ram for $500? And please give me the shop you're buying.

The blood on to your heart start pumping faster when you notice me.

But is ok.

Judge me for my nickname, my avatar and for the low amounts of posts I have. I will keep your heart beat raised.

http://www.argep.hu/ This is the only Hungarian site I know of for PC Hardware. Seems to be like pcpartpicker for Hungarians.

For the hardware itself: If you can find a good deal on a GTX 750TI or even better an R9 270 or R7 265, do that. CPU and mobo are fine. For the CPU Cooler, the Hyper 212 Evo is good, but so is the Enermax ETS-T40, Zalman CNPS10X-Optima, NZXT Respire T40. There are loads of these 120mm tower coolers to choose from, go for the cheapest. For the case, the Zalman Z3 Plus is quite a good low cost case, grab another 120mm fan to go in it at the front and you have excellent airflow. Getting 8gb of total RAM would be great, grabbing a 2nd dimm would be better than getting a 8gb kit.

And that's about it. Have fun.
